Meet the Speakers

Meagan L. Grega, MD, FACLM, DipABLM, DipABFM
Dr. Meagan Grega is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Kellyn Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice.  Kellyn provides school-based healthy lifestyle education and “Garden as a Classroom” programs; supports access to nutrient-dense produce via the Eat Real Food Mobile Market; engages participants in hands-on, plant-based cooking classes in community settings and offers intensive therapeutic lifestyle change interventions for individuals and families.  

​Dr. Grega earned her MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and spent several years as a medical officer in the United States Navy.  She is honored to serve as faculty for the St. Luke’s University Health Network Anderson Campus Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency programs, Clinical Assistant Professor for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and as the faculty advisor for the LKSOM/SLUHN medical student Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group.  She serves as a member of several national task force groups dedicated to the expansion of evidence-based lifestyle medicine services and is the current conference chair for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Annual Meeting.   She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, serves as a Director of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and is board certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.

Dave Donohue, MD
Dr. Dave Donohue (he/him) is a board-certified internist and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is the husband of Dr. Deborah Zarek and a medical school classmate of Dr. Jayshree Tailor.

In November 2017, Dr. Dave Donohue was in the first wave of physicians board-certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.  He is Delaware's first board certified lifestyle medicine physician.

Dr. Donohue has an IT background, and worked 15 years as a software architect for the DuPont company. He graduated from Brandywine High School and then attended Rice University. He received a MS in Molecular Biology from Stanford University. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1997, and completed his residency in primary care Internal Medicine at George Washington University in 2000. 

Jayshree Tailor, MD, FACP, DipABLM
Dr. Jayshree Tailor (she/her) is a board-certified internist and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.  Dr. Tailor graduated medical school in 1996 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas in 1999. Since then she has had a range of work experiences including academic medicine, hospital medicine and for the last 15 years as a primary care physician with Progressive Health of Delaware.

Dr. Tailor describes her care as holistic and strives to foster a partnership with each patient to optimize their health. She believes the best health outcomes are achieved through evidence-based preventive approaches complemented by medical therapeutics if and when needed. She has been named a "Top Doc" in Delaware in 2020 and 2019.

In December 2023, she was board certified in Lifestyle Medicine and is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She is a member of the Medical Society of Delaware (MSD) and served as its former chair of the School Health Subcommittee.  She enjoys giving nutrition talks to middle and high school students.  Most recently she has been designated the MSD representative to the state of Delaware's Food Is Medicine initiative.
