Potluck + Presentation on New Ground Grower Series
Please join us for a plant-based potluck (no meat, fish, dairy or eggs), followed by a presentation from Madison Walter on the New Ground Growers Series (NGGS), a free urban farming and community gardening training program for adults.
The NGGS helps participants gain training on the basic skills of growing edible crops and offers exposure to the many local resources in Delaware.
More about Madison Walter:
Madison is member of the New Castle Conservation District, chair of the Delaware Urban Farm and Food Coalition, adjunct faculty at Longwood, and is a member of the Governor’s Farm and Food Policy Council and the LEADelaware Board.
