Danielle Medina
Danielle Medina is actively growing the whole food, plant-based vegan community through education, curriculum design, and media. She holds a B.S. in Food Science and Nutrition, a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, and is a licensed Food for Life instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Through her business, Fit N Play Mama LLC, Danielle offers family-friendly cooking classes and wellness programs rooted in joy and simplicity. In addition to her professional work, Danielle is the creator of the Cook N Play Summer Camp, a one-of-a-kind program that focuses on plant-based cooking, nature exploration, and movement for children.
Danielle was a distinguished panelist at the 2nd Annual Plant-Based Nutrition & Health Conference at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York, where she presented on Plant-Based Nutrition and Athletic Performance. Her expertise was further recognized through her work with the Plant Powered Metro New York, NYC Health + Hospitals, New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, and her content contribution featured in plant-based lifestyle magazines, webinars, workshops, and cooking classes.
Danielle is also a longtime fitness and yoga instructor, bringing over 20 years of experience to her work. She especially loves sharing the kitchen with her daughter and showing families how to prepare meals that nourish both body and spirit.
